I'm really excited about this info graphic because it shows you 13 different ways that you can get more Facebook fans. Now, this is a big info graphic. It looks small here, but when you download it, it's actually really really big. We're going to look at each on of these tactics in brief, okay?
Again, the first thing you want to do is make the most of your existing fans. We talked about that. You can also invite your friends to become fans on your Facebook page. Now, you can do that just with a post on your personal profile on Facebook, but you can also do it from your page. So from your business page, go to the top and over here on the right, it says, "No friends who might like your page" and it gives you a whole list of people that, these are all my friends. I can invite some of them. I'm not going to invite everybody, but there are people who are probably interested in my business, so I can go through there and invite them. This works. It works. That's one thing that you can do. Let's go back to ... that info graphic. Okay.
You can also invite people who engage with your posts. So, if you do a post and you get people who like it or share it or comment on it, you can click on the engagement that you got. I'll show you right here. This says I reached 150 people. Well, if I click on that, it'll give me some details about who I reached. Like, okay, one person hid that. They didn't want to see it. It'll tell you, if you got engagement, what you got it on. But see, nobody had really engaged with that yet. Here, this lady right here has liked my post. So I can come here and invite her to like my page. Now, she's already a fan. I also had somebody share my post, and this woman is already a member at socialmediaonlineclasses. Notice it's not going to let me ... That's interesting. It's not going to let me invite her from the share, but only from the like. Okay. Here's another post. When I click on these names, notice this lady right here has not liked my page, so I can invite Carey to like my page. That's a free way to do it. That's something that would take you five minutes a day. So, have these people liked my page? Well, there's on who hasn't. I'm going to invite Isabelle. So you can go through here and do that.
Okay, here we are, number three. Invite people who engage with your posts. Okay, local business, this is for you. Invite your customers to become fans. Now, every business can do this, you don't have to be local, but put your Facebook page logo on all your points of customer contact. Business cards, website, invoices. You're going to see a couple things as we go through here. This was literally a sign on the back of the lady's room stall at a Chick-Fil-A restaurant. Now, they have got my undivided attention right there. I'm in a stall in the ladies room and looky here, I can like them on Facebook. And believe it or not, a lot of people re looking on their smart phones when they're in the restroom, so make every square in of your brick and mortar store work for you. This is one way that you can make those restrooms work for you. You're getting ROY in your lady's room, or men's room. You can also add a Facebook like box to your website. This is that little box that you see on websites where people can click on it and become a fan from your website. It's one click. It's easy peasy. If you click on this, and everybody's going to get this info graphic on Monday, and I will actually ... let's see.
I haven't uploaded this to the website yet, so I will post in the group a link to this so that you can get it before Monday. But if you click on this, it will take you to the lesson. I think it's lesson four in Facebook 101 that teaches you how to do this.
Here again is, you can get a contest. I profile this brand a lot. Stitzworth Meats. This is a small meat market in Minneapolis, and they have a ridiculous number of fans. It's in the hundreds of thousands, I think. They do it by giving away a grill. They got 3,000 new fans that way. You can look it your swipe file at social media online classes. Right here, if you go to the members only menu ... I gotta wake up my screen here. Okay. Come down to swipe file, and I have got all kinds of examples of contests that you can get inspiration from. Here is the grill. Heres a Facebook contest that was for gutters. You wouldn't think people would be excited about that, but I was tagged by a college roommate of mine who is a widow and she needed some new gutters. Let's see ... Oh. Here it is. This is a Pinterest contest where people had to enter through Facebook. This is a hashtag contest. Heres G Michael again, they're the ones who did the Facebook Valentine's day contest. They gave away a gift certificate here, I think all you had to do was share. So, look in this swipe file and you're going to get a lot of examples of contests that you can run.
All right, we're almost done here, I'm just going to quickly go over the last things here on this info graphic just briefly. Identify your most profitable fans. We've talked about that, how to do that in your insights.
